Gary Spinosa: Philosopher's Stone is the debut offering from Bruce Gallery Press, a subsidiary of Edinboro University. The book is a 208 pages, 8" x 12" with high quality plates of four decades of Spinosa's work from the photography of Dan Fox, Lumina Studio, and Jeff Willis. Largely an in-house product, it contains a major essay by Charlotte Wellman, Professor of Art History, with the design work of Edinboro graphic designers Sara Bressler, Katie Budner, Jamie Schricker and Jessica Shoemaker. The book also contains an introduction from Bruce Gallery Director John Bavaro and the Art Direction of Shelle Barron.

      The book will debut on January 31, 2007 and be available at the opening, signed by the artist for $29.95. It can also be purchased online at our website www.brucegallery.org and locally at Borders and the Erie Book Store after February 1.
